About Us

The Group itself predates 1954 and has met in various locations before finding its permanent home on the current site.

The modern building, we have today is the result of the hard work and dedication of past leaders and helpers, gaining lottery funding and personally helping to build these first-class facilities.

We are privileged to wear the Queens own Stewart tartan on our neckerchiefs. This is by direct permission from the palace back in 1968. Previously to this the 5th Bolton wore a sky-blue neckerchief.
